Experiences - VERY BAD TRIP salvia divinorum REPORT

Im scared to try salvia..a friend of mine was on it and he went in the river and shit and its winter...he came to my house in the middle of the night and was like i didnt know where else to go..but i was really drunk and throwing up so i didnt know what was going on really but he was really messed up..


anyone had bad experiances from salvia?

here's the story: me and my friends started smoking leavesin a quiet good enviroment(I was first) and I was inhaling lot of salvia after short period I started loosing my self but I took 2 morebiginhales.Then I layed down on the bed and after 10 sec I got up and started yelling that the DEVIL is inside of me! My voice and my laugh were very terrible(like devil's)...it was like horror-->I started attacking my friends and telling them that they must pull the devil outside my body. So they started to do that so that I can be calm (when they were "pulling the devil" I was having feeling like that something is truly going out from me) That horror behavior was for a long period(maybe 15min)


I am telling you that because I think that salvia really gives you another eyes.you see world different,as he really is!It was more cases like this; God was talking to my friend,etc..


I don't know what powers salvia has,butI am suret hat Iwill not use it anymore

Strange, bad trips are very rare on salvia - And you
say these where salvia leaves? they shouldn't be too
strong for 3 inhalations (more like a level 3
experience). I guess you might be a salvia softhead
or it was an extract.

I have two questions

1) Are you on anti-depressants or any other MAO
inhibitor?

2) Are you psychologically stable to take salvia?
perhaps you were anxious and thus this added to
the experience, you see with salvia if you imagine
something you're seriously going to believe it is
happening. So i think you should before you take
salvia again (if ever) reassure yourself that you're ok
and allow your safe to safely sit still. I tell you, the
laughter you have wasn't the devils ).

Have fun and be safe, i don't see how salvia can be
anything scary - more like exciting and insightful!
Just don't get paranoid, if you feel like you're losing
control ground yourself by gripping an arm chair or
something.

Just to look at this from a non-scientific perspective, what if the
devil really WAS inside you, and because of this experience, your
friends actually saved you from a future outbreak of violence!? Perhaps
this experience really was an excorcism and the salvia just allowed you
to see the true beast. Honestly, i dont believe in what i just said
(being non-religious and all), but its pretty cool to think about.



Also, dont let one bad experience ruin the drug for you, its just the
fear that it will happen again. It really is a wonderful experience if
you keep it calm and peaceful. Just my advice.

That didn´t sound like a nice experience but i would like to believe
what stingray said about it being a healing for something that was deep
inside of you waiting to burst.



Now it would be very interesting to see what would happen if you were
to try Salvia again... Whether you would get the same or a similar
experience or something new which might mean you have actually been
healed?!

But don´t do it if you still feel uncomfortable with it, a peacefull mind is very important for having a good experience.

No, I don't take any medicines or any other drug!


My other experiences were like Iwas trapped in something and I wanted toget out but i couldn't! One of my experiences were that I was in some kind of red sphere(bowl) and i wanted to get out but i couldn't,I used all my force to get rid of that feeling-like something is really touching me. I turned objects around me and a little light into that really scary sphere around me!


I don't know how to have good trips,only what I get from salvia is uncofortable trips! This trip with sphere and that that I am trapped are not BAD trip,they are just uncofortable BUT the DEMON trip was really BAD trip because it was just likethat I know what is happening but I can't controll it,really scary!


Please give me some tipsfor using salviafrom your experience,anyone..

on some high dose dreams of certain substances i have had many 'death' trips, and more then a few 'hell' trips. I say that i value those terrifiying experiences because i feel so clean afterwards. I just wish i could find the pictures i was taking while i was in hell. BTW deamons do deffinatly exist if you give them enough thought energy, and who knows what they will make you do.

sounds like you may not be ready to hack salvia, or many it just does not like you. wether you are useing extract or straight leaves, try cutting the dose a little bit. if its too intense, dont take so much.

I like the term you used to describe how salvia made you feel- you were losing yourself. This is exactly how felt when i was taken into the land of salvia (via leaf). I felt like i was completely another person and the essence of who i waswas being sucked from my body. At the time it was pretty scary, but assalvia teaches you more you begin to accept it and realize that to change yourreality and how you look atthings you have to see everything through the eyes and thoughts of someone else.
