Re: Quantities cocaine is commonly sold in ( was "cocaine size")
it really depends in what country and in what setting.
common units are lines (yes, it happens in some club environments in some european countries), half-grams, grams and their multiples ( 2 grams, 4 grams etc) In North America commonly found units are 1.75 grams but really 1.5g ( "teener", slang for 1/16th of an ounce , 28 grams in an ounce so 16th should be 1.75 gm, but is usually 1.5g ) 3.5 grams ( "eightball") half ounces, ounces and then it can go up to kilos, tons etc but that's way beyond the scope of this forum which focuses on substance use p.s.- a small reminder along the way price discussion are against the rules, prices belong in the price calculator only. b |

A teenager is a sweet sixteenth (1/16th ounce)! So, it is half of an eightball (1/8th ounce). Since the eightball is 3.5 grams, then the teenager is 1.75 grams. If you want to get really technical though, and your scale measures in hundreths of a gram, a teenager is 1.77 grams, an eightball is 3.54 grams, and an ounce is 28.35 grams. And they say, "Don't sweat the small stuff!" Geez!
