the capsule for adderall xr
Swim has a bunch of empty adderall xr capsules laying around and he was curious: he knows that the outer coating of concertas have a little methylphenidate in them and he was wondering if the capsule material of adderall contains any amphetamine in it.

I'm pretty sure all the actives are inside the beads...I don't know of any capsules that actually have actives embedded in them.

correct. it's just a container for the beads, which is why the FDA report on Adderall XR states that the beads can be removed from the capsule and placed on foods like applesauce if the user doesn't like taking pills.

Just throw the capsules away. I've noticed that they tend to dry out once they're emptied so I wouldn't use them for anything else, as a side note.
