Drugs found during raids in Ireland

Hey, The bust wasn't even of high amount, but I feel this is the start of a major crackdown by the irish government on the drugs and other illegal things going on in gangland area's in Limerick.

"Gardai (Irish for cops/police) say a gun and €40,000 worth of drugs were sezed today following raids on houses in Limerick city centre

Around 60 gardai took part in today's raids as part of a large drugs trafficking investigation

Six people aged from 18 to 30 have been arrested as a result of the raids. The local gardai were joined by the National Drugs Squad, the Dogs Unit and a helicopter from the Air Support Unit

The searches in St Mary's park in the north of the city and Southill Park in the south began early this morning"

According to news reports I heard, more raids will be taking place soon as the Government are trying to deal with the rising problems of violence and drug abuse/selling in Limerick

I will update this if more raids take place within the coming days/weeks
