Using Mandelin tester
SWIM is wondering if using the Mandelin tester kits, sold online, helpful with determining the overall purity of the ketamine?
Has anyone ever tried testing using Mandelin testers? If so, let SWIM know. Thanks |

Re: Using Mandelin tester
I have no personal experience with Mandelin reagent, but spot color reagents in general cannot give any indication of purity. They can only indicate the presence of a chemical, and I don't think Mandelin is any different. Mandelin is mostly used (by drug users) to screen for ketamine pills being sold as "ecstasy."

Re: Using Mandelin tester
So, basically. the only thing SWIM can look for is what it might be laced with and not cut with.
Is ketamine sometimes cut with amphetamines? So, if SWIM has a half gram of ketamine and 3/4 was baking soda. The test will still return positive "orange" for ketamine? Wouldn't the contrast of the oranges describe the overall purity? No? Thanks |
