Kadian 100mg; Opiate-Guru seeks method of IV - please help

Hey,
I'm a medical student at Vjire Univ. of Amsterdam so my pharmocological knowledge of opiates/ opioids is considerably large; I am NOT looking for a lecture on my prefered method of ingestion: I AM AWARE of the risks, and possible complications.

What I need, and so far un able to find is a DETAILED step by step account of how to prepare Kadian 100mg for an intraveinous administration.

how can one be an opiate guru if one doesn't know this simple answer.

oh well, if SWIyou are as knowledgeable as SWIyou say SWIyou are then SWIyou would have noticed that there is one main thread and a heap of other threads right here in this section pertaining to the exact same procedure as SWIyou require. One of them just happens to be right below this thread a little . . . . "save those veins" etc.

Well I have some theories on how to go about the preperation, however, I preformed several searches on this both here and elsewhere and so far have been unable to find what I am looking for.

Regarding the save your veins post, no I haven't seen it, I'm not sure why my search wouldn't hav turned it up though. I appreciate your time to respond. Thank you.

Well, swim and I can't advise this, as you know- swiy takes all responsibility. But for information's sake, I can tell you a story about a friend.. this friend injects those Kadian capsules (he is prescribed to them, the 30s I think, among a myriad of other controlled prescriptions- he just prefers to get high on occasion as opposed to take them as directed daily). What he has done (and swim has observed it done, appears to work well) is to pull apart the capsule and put the contents into a pill crusher all together (discarding the pill shell, just putting the beads in there), to make a powder of sorts (if the outer part of the beads kind of flakes or doesn't powder as finely it's all good, but crush it pretty decent). Then take a hardcover book or similar surface and pour the contents onto it. Then tilt the book, with a steady hand, at about a 20-30 degree angle to a table or another steady flat surface, with a sheet of paper or another book at the base to catch what falls. Take an id card or credit card and "tap tap tap" firmly against the angled book with the powder, tapping about an inch or two away from the pile of powder, with the edge of the card, and to the side of the powder. The coating/shell bits are apparently heavier and will fall to the table/book below, leaving the fine/white morphine powder (I think this is right- I could have it reversed but swim watched it done and is pretty sure this is correct). Again, swim has no personal experience on the dosage, chemistry, or safety of this method, but hopefully it helps.- she's merely passing on the technique of a friend. As always, iv pills can be risky, so perhaps proceed with a sterifilt or similar to remove unwanted pill residues and swiy's good to go! Swim will also give you one other warning- this is also the character described in her lisdexamfetamine thread, who insists he gets a coke-like rush from snorting Vyvanse (which are more active orally when the l-lysine is cleaved off in the gastrointestinal tract) so he may be quite susceptible to placebo effect (as we all are sometimes) or misinfo (as he doesn't always research his methods too carefully, and is a bit reckless about his drugs). But as far as swim knows, the Kadian method has been effective for him without any problems as of yet. If anyone knows of a reason why this method may be harmful or whatnot (aside from the disclaimer that pills plus injecting is generally not a good plan) please do share, and let me know so I can remove or edit this info. I just wanted to put this out there as another idea for those who cannot or will not choose to do the chemistry required for other methods.
