Combinations - Xanax and alcohol

Hey, when you guys take bars (the white ones 2mg i think) do you usually take it with water? i always take it with alcohol. but what are the effects or downfalls should i say? it must hit u alot times harder rite? What other drug can u compare it to when taken like this? i want to know all i can know....thanks

I wouldn't take it with alcohol, but that's just me. Makes me wayyy to sleepy. I've noticed it's common to drink with them though. Most people who say they don't remember what they did on a night they were taking zannies, can't remember cause they took them w/alcohol. The two combined strenghten each other. They hit you much harder. It can really slow your heart too.

Benzo's and alcohol are not a good idea. You'll either oversedate yourself, which can be very dangerous - think choking on puke, think severe respiratory depression, think waking up on a drip or not waking up at all; or have a paradoxical reaction - think paranoid, aggressive, out of control, absolutely no idea why everybody thinks you're a knob in the morning! The other alternative is that you'll have a lovely time and wake up a bit dazed and confused in the morning!

Bottom line is that you won't know without experimenting, but do it safely and slowly - get to know your drugs and your body and mind - and make sure you're aware of the potential pitfalls!

usually when i take xanax with water it makes me way sleepy. but if i take like 2 or 3 with alcohol i just get...high i guess. but ive never taken so many to the point of not remembering the next morining. i guess it has a different effect on everybody huh?
