Dose - taking chlordiazepoxide first time

SWIM has some 5mg chlordiazepoxide tablets. SWIM has never taken benzos before. Can SWIY's reccommend a dose?

maybe a couple of them, 2 or 3. that would be good for staring. swim likes chlordiazepoxide.

SWIM has found the 25 mg tablets to be adequate but have a long hangover. Always good to start slow, but given that 25 mg tablets are made, 2-3 should not be too much. SWIM likes some of the other benzos better (ie-diazepam, alprazolam) but they work.

SWIM too just got some Chlordiazepoxide, 25mg ones. Since its a new benzo for SWIM he will start out with just one tab (considering they come down in as small as 5mg he supposes 25mg should give at least some effect, even though he has a general high benzo tolerance).

The nice guy in the pharmacy gave SWIM back his prescription after giving him the pills, so SWIM can go and use the same prescription again This was because the prescription had 2 benzos on it (lormetazepam was the other one) and they only had the Chlordiazepoxide in this pharmacy so he said I could take the prescription to another pharmacy to try get the other benzo.

Well we'll soon see how this Chlordiazepoxide is. Cheers

SWIM reports back.

He took 3 x 25mg chlordiazepoxide tablets (75mg) and felt a nice relaxing state of tranquility not unlike a nice dose of diazepam. He also felt a good benzo feeling he has been looking for a long time, with his unusual high tolerance such effects are not easy to achieve. It was mild, but it was there, and he had some pleasent hours. He thinks he has a better effect with this substance than the other benzos due to the fact not using it before.

He might up the dosage some next time, to try see if its recreational use is worth anything for him.

But all in all, with the dosage here, things were fine and the effect was felt. Satisfied with the result. It helped against his medical problems, and in addition gave a small nice buzz while at it
