Chlorine Taste and GBL

Has anyone experienced this? Usually GBL seems to have a real chemical taste. This GBL swim has is supposedly 99% pure and seems to taste like chlorine when mixed with water. Yet has the same effects.

Can't say I have as I've never tasted chlorine.
It's hardly surprising GBL hastes 'chemically' as that's what it is - but what isn't?
If I were pushed, I'd say it tastes 'lactoney', though I've nowt to compare it to.
As your 'GBL' tastes of chemicals, has the same effects as GBL and claims to be 99% pure, it likely is GBL.
