Amphetamine vs. Methamphetamine

Swim has access to pure amphetamine from a reputable online source. He has never liked dextroamphetamine or any kind of ADHD medication but enjoyes methamphetamine.

Is amphetamine different then ADHD medication? If so, how?

ADHD medication DOES NOT give swim any kind of euphoria, at all.
