Suboxone=miseryHas anyone else experienced this?

Swim has been on suboxone since October and has came to despise it.It is a trap.Swim stays on it because it is the only way he can stay opiated everyday and not suffer the pain of withdrawals.Yet suboxone has its own pain.It sometimes causes severe headaches,at times it causes what swim can only call a sense of dysphoria.Why can't the US give addicts pharmaceutical heroin instead of this disgusting and unnatural feeling trash?Not to mention suboxone has some frightening side effects not assosciated with other opiates the main one being cytolytic hepatitis.Not To add to swims misery swim has to stay in some ridiculous program where one of his friends had the cops called on him just for testing positive for weed!Swim is tired of hearing the ridiculous propaganda day in and day out.Swim is tired of suboxone.However swim knows if he abandons suboxone he will go back to a life of being sick and broke most the time and feeling really good only some of the time.What should swim do?Swim is just curious if anyone out there has been in this situation.

AFAIK, Buprenorphine is the only opioid one can not really overdose on. Also, it is much harder to build up a tolerance on it than most every other opioid. Two positive points you may want to consider in the otherwise overwhelmingly negative experiences you have been having.

edit: I have gone back and read some of your other posts (to try and get a sense of history), and I think what you are experiencing may be more related to some of the long term negative effects of any opioid, rather than just the evils of buprenorphine. Thousands of people say heroin is worthless trash which only led to misery and stole their livlihood, stole their dreams, and stole their soul.
