Tolerance - Opiate Tolerance, Due To Parents?

Mistress Swim knows the general and basic info of how parents/mothers etc can pass on habits and addiciton etc to their children! Also hope this is the right spot to post this (please move/delete if not!)

But is wondering if bcoz Mistress S' parents were both Heroin addicts when younger, and have been on Methadone now for over 20odd years, (Swims mum had a natural birth, and was only smoking when she was pregant with mini swim and on methadone!) if it plays any part or has any effect in Mistress S' tolerance to opiates/codeine/or any drug for that matter!

She does believe that she has gotten her "addicitive personality" from her parents, both of which are smokers (and so is swim) as well as alot of other drugs that swim enjoys, often, that her parents did the same when they were younger also!

Mistress Swimmy Mc Swim Swim find that she gets mild but noticable W/D's from dosages of only 90mg-160mg of codeine...and has yet to feel a true euphoric feeling on codeine,(althought once swim started CWE larger amounts of codeine, instead of the ususal pop a couple of tablets, that it felt "normal" to her, unlike when she had no opiates/codeine in her system at all!) and is considering upping her dosage, but spreading the doses out over a longer period, instead of doseing every 1-2days, as well as the use of GFJ 12-24hours beforehand (swim has done the GFJ + 170mg of codeine a day later and felt the best she had ever from opiates, but still nothing like others seem to experience or explain!)

Swim would like to maybe hear some feedback on this, and if the fact her parents were Heroin addicts/Methadone users, play ANY part in Swims tolerance to it all??? also swim notices her mums liking of painkillers(containing codeine) aswell! she takes alot for certain "pains with age" that she has,, swim wonders if its just a liking of the pain relief or the fact there is codeine in them? does methadone relieve all the things its ment to for a former heroin addict?? sorry if swim sounds dumb on all of this, but she grew up with her parents telling her that drinking there "stuff" (methadone) would kill her! which makes sense at that age, but made swim never really interested in knowing what methadone did!
