Combinations - A enexpected night of opiates. Yum.

Sorry for the ranting in advance. Well swim went on a roadtrip this past weekend to visit a friend. Where this friend lives there tends to be goodies of who knows what floatin round. So swim went down only with 2 30mg MS contins for a ridin buzz. Lucky enough, upon arrival swim learns that there are some percs, norcos, and xanax around. Swim picks up a few of each and mixs and matches for a nice combo buzz of the four.
Right when swims buzz is really starting to pick up, a person arrived with some opium. Most of the shit that comes around here is terrble or just straight BS. So swim had a completely sober friend test it out to let him know. Swims friends was blown away and claimed this to be exquisite product. So swim picked up quite a bit and a group smoking started. Bowls, bubblers, vaporizers, bong rips all being used to consume the opium. Then after a long session, it was only appropriate to end with some big knife hits. WOW! This is definitly some of the best opium swim has smoked.
Swim spent the next few hours sitting in a bean bag chair feeling one of the best buzzes swim had ever felt. Relaxed, euphoric, no knee or back pain, social yet slow, awesome. Just had to share my luck of running into all these opiates and getting to enjoy them to their full extent. Swim does know his limits and stresses the importance of this. As any fun night like this can turn into hell if one doesn't know thier body. The combo of morphine, oxycodone, hydrocodone, xanax, and lots of opium was wonderful as one would guess. Plus a perfect setting, good friends, and good music always make any experience better. Peace.

Anything done with direct heat would not have done anything at all unless it was an opiated hashish. In the case of it being opiated hash it would have been the hash making an effect and not opium. Most active opiate alkaloids which are smokable are destroyed via vaporization @ approx 80 deg Celsius (82.6 deg Celsius for Morphine to be exact).

Anything above this and the available opiate alkaloids are destroyed immediately before any opium vapor can be produced. "bong hits" or "bowls" of opium would have destroyed long before any effective amount would have been produced even from the best opium in the world.

To put it in a better way. When opium is taken past the point of vaporization it will have produced some opiate alkaloid vapors, these would have been destroyed by the excessive heat. The resulting mass or residue would have carbonized and hardened. This hardened material still holds quite a significant amount of Morphine in it depending on how long the heat was on it for.

Example: if the heat were on it only for a few seconds and one was left with a hardened residue after the initial smoke. The residue which is left will contain about 80% of its original morphine content.

The vaporizers would have been fine, Unsure what SWIyou mean by bubblers tho.

Opium is smoked using an indirect heat source, usually an opium pope, light bulb pipe, essential oil burner, ice / meth pipe, etc. Anything where the flame or heat source will not directly touch the opium. Otherwise it is just too hot and waste is evident.
