CWE on codeine/pseudoephedrine...what happens to the pseudoephedrine?

I am a chem noob and have the following question-
If i do a CWE on pills with codeine 15mg; pseudoephedrine 30mg; paracetamol 500mg; what happens to the pseudoephedrine? Does it land up with the codeine or the paracetamol?

pseudoephedrine is water soluble me-thinks, so if thats true would end up in with the codeine, a recreational dose of codeine would yield an undesirable amount of pseudoephedrine

Psuedoephedrine would end up with the codeine in solution.

Psuedoephedrine & paracetamol are both undesirable. CWE should not be rushed, make sure procedures are read and understood.
