Combinations - LSD and pharmaceuticals...advice please!

SWIM has finally managed to get his hands on some quality blotter after months of drought, and is understandably fairly keen to trip asap. Unfortunately, he is recovering from tonsilitis and would need to take paracetamol to stop the pain from ruining the trip. SWIM is also still on a course of penecillin. everyone knows that either of these meds should not be combined with alcohol, but SWIMs dr refuses to advise on whether the combination with LSD would be equally unpleasant. Has anyone heard of people combining LSD with either penecillin and/or paracetamol, and if so, what were the results?

Why would a marmoset take LSD when they are unwell?

Surely the monkey could wait a while and be in tip-top condition before tripping?

Quite apart from the fact that having a sore throat sucks at the best of times, the idea of having a sore throat and tripping for 12 hours sounds even worse.

Scratchy/swollen/congested/uncomfortable feeling: Can you imagine the thought/body loops that could ensue?

Practically speaking, antibiotics often cause some nausea, and the flamingo wouldn't want that on top of the occsional LSD queasiness

For the flamingo, LSD is something to be cherished, something to be savoured, something to be planned. Suboptimal set/setting diminishes the experience and is a waste of a precious chemical.

I suppose you're right, and while SWIM doesn't feel unwell aside from mild pain when swallowing, as you say patience is a virtue and these things ought to be special.

The thing is, SWIM has had 10 wonderful tabs burning a hole in his metaphorical pocket for three weeks now. He has been looking forward to this weekend (his only opportunity until march at the earliest!) for many moons and he is more than a little frustated that it's passing so uneventfully. I guess SWIM will just have to drop another paracetamol, have a quiet joint and wait for everything to be perfect...

As an aside there is really no reason why one can't drink alcohol while on antibiotics. Its simply something doctors tell patients, because well when you're sick you shouldn't be drinking. But yeah, don't mix alcohol with paracetamol.

Either antibiotics or paracetamol should be fine to mix with LSD, but like Jatelka said, why would you want rather than just wait?
