Dose - First time taking valium (Diazepam)???

well a little background info first.
im a heavy pot smoker who used to live in ireland. my brother has been growing his own weed for the last 5 years for personal use so i always had a good supply.

but now i've moved to a country in south-east asia where it's hard as hell to get your hands on any sort of weed and when you can it's normally tiny amounts and you have to go through so much trouble to get it.

while i was hanging out with some of my cousins friends we smoked a few joints which was nice but they told me how hard it was to get weed here. so everybody just takes meth or valium with beer.

ok i've had no experience with any drugs apart from marijuana and cocaine (which i only did a few times) and it's pretty easy to get valium here.

my question is how much should i take for my first dosage??

i've heard that it makes you feel sleepy and relaxes your muscles and increases your appreciation for music.

im just looking for feedback here.

Try the Valium.
One yellow 5mg or 1 blue 10mg but no more than that on your intial trial.
Then adjsut as needed. These are safe amounts initially.
Also it depends if you are at home watching tv or out in public.
Be cautious out in public.

To begin with, benzos can be extremely addictive compared to marijuana. Secondly its withdrawal symptoms can be very dangerous and even fatal.

So, if 'Someone Who Isn't You' wants to get into valium (diazepam) anyway he should begin with 10mg to see how he reacts to it. he should do it in a place and time when he won't have to operate machinery (driving, walking on roads, etc).

A benzo (valium included) reacts to every individual differently in terms of sedation value.

SWIM personally can take 100mg nitrazepam which is roughly equal to 110mg diazepam and drive, talk to people without a difference. But that he has build up after a lots of tolerance and he regrets it. Doing something like that for a benzo naive person can lead to excessive sedation and days of sleep (which means you get to go to hospital obviously).

Now if SWIY is getting into it recreationally and diazepam is easily available to him he might as well try other benzos too and check which suits him the best. Nitrazepam(mogadon) works best for SWIM personally. He also likes alprazolam, lorazepam and clonazepam.

If SWIY is doing it, do it safe and don't get addicted!

SWIM has played around with blues (10mgs) for two weeks and more when based out of town and has never had a withdrawal from them are some people just lucky lol, tho Swim has SA and uses them to get fucked or get threw them sits that make Swim uneasy.

If recreational maybe SWIY might want to consider GBL/GHB as it's like a cross between valium and alcohol but with music appreciation and sexual arousal.
