MDMA side effects mimic concussion?

If someone were to have taken MDMA on Saturday night, go on to vomit and have dizziness on Monday and Tuesday, then go to the doctor and diagnosed as having a concussion...would it be possible it is a misdiagnosis if the doctor did not know about the drug intake? There was a head bump that happened prior to the ingestion, but not to the extent that it was thought there was a problem. It just seems to coincidental as I know the side effects of MDMA use can be dizziness and nausea. But didn't know if the side effects including the pupil dialation would mimic a concussion so closely that a dr would mistakenly diagnosis.

The doctor was not mistaken - a bump on the head + dizziness + nausea + changes in pupil size = concussion, irrespective of any drugs taken. Rather than mimicking the condition, the MDMA probably masked the symptoms. It is highly unlikely that a dose of MDMA would still be causing these symptoms 2-3 days later, but concussion certainly could, even after what is felt to be a minor bump.

I agree that the physician's diagnosis was probably correct. However, in the future consider telling the physician about ones drug intake if one feels it might be related to the problem. Providing as much information to the doctor as possible will help in obtaining an accurate diagnosis. The doctor is required to respect ones privacy in such a matter.
