A Fentanyl Warning

SWIM wants to start out by saying he's very experienced with Fentanyl and understands that what he's about to relate would result in much more tragic results for SWIY unexperienced.

SWIM had a regular Fentanyl habit. He'd take a 75mcg/hr patch and allow the gel to be absorbed under the tongue. The high, while not intense was said to be very satisfactory. SWIM's wife would notice SWIM nodding after two or three days straight however this helped moderate his pace (substituting hydro's to give SWIM a mild high in place of the Fentanyl).

One night the Fentanyl happened to wear off too quickly for SWIM (about four hours) and he decided to do something he'd tried only once before, absorbing another patch under the tongue. The previous time this happened SWIM passed out on the floor for a couple of hours but that was it. Despite this, SWIM pressed on.

SWIM remembers nothing beyond 10 minutes after he dosed the second time. SWIM came to in an ambulance after administration of Naloxone. It had only been about 15 minutes before SWIM's daughter found him but SWIM was already experiencing labored breathing and his fingers and toes had turned blue. SWIM's pupils were severely constricted and SWIM's wife was unable to get him to respond at all. If SWIM's family had been out for the evening, SWIM would be dead right now.

SWIM considers himself lucky to be alive and would like this to serve as a warning to those of you considering Fentanyl. Please be careful...

Re: A Fentanyl Warning

Swim never had fentanil but has a lot of respect for them. He woudn't mess around with them (unless he wanted to die witch he doesn't!) If he did get them he will only use them as how they should be used.
