methadone oxycontin combo

swim has an oxycodone habit of 60-100mg per day. swim took 15mg at 8:00am, then another 30mg at 12:30pm. at 3:00pm swim took 5mg of METHADONE because swim thought she had finished her last dose, and wanted to start on the methadone. well swim just scored more oxycodone, and just blew 15mg's. is swim going to be ok? is swim not going to feel her oxy high because of the methadone? what effect does methadone have on other opiods? swim feels ok so far, and swim knows 5mg is not that much methadone. swim is just curious. thank you.

Swim believes that methadone blocks the euphoric effects of other opiates. It however does not block the analgesic effects for swim. Swim usually has found the euphoric effects of other opiates unnoticed up to 36 hrs after methadone.
Swiy should also know that because of the long long half-life that swimmers should be very careful dosing other opiates afterwards! Many overdoses happen because of people thinking the methadone is out of their system and wonder why they aren't feeling a normal dose of oxy, hydro, etc. resulting in toxic levels of opiates.

Might I also suggest that SWIM ask questions like this before doing said substances?
What would SWIM do if the answer was "no, SWIM will be in serious trouble"?

I'd agree with pretty much everything blackdb1 said otherwise.
