There is a myth that snorting suboxone will make the naloxone active.This is not true unless one has other opiates in their system.This will make the suboxone work more rapidly and even create a noticeable buzz.Is the buzz like that of shorter acting opiates?No unless one is opiate naive.It is still better than nothing.Swim is rather glad he discovered this.This should put to rest those questions about snorting suboxone.

That is how most people do it around here, very common. SWiM has gotten really fucked on just 2-3 mg's intranasally, with no tolerance.

There's also Subutex which has no added antagonist and is half the price. Buprenorphine is itself an antagonist/partial agonist and should never be taken by an addict with opiates/opioids within at least 12 hours of using if not more unless they want to be sick pretty fast. Waiting until your first puke is a better idea with that stuff even without Naloxone. Not a pleasant dream perhaps. Sorry. But nonetheless better to hear first than later as Swim did. 16 mg daily (dropping quickly to 4mg or less within a week or two) is better than all the methadone in New York with the exception of the first 16 hours plus or minus which isn't the worst of it. Transitioning from methadone to bupe is pretty easy too without the sickness so much if one can tolerate those miserable clinics.
As for insufflation yes. Swim did with pure base chemical and it does work and dosage was tiny. Realize that IV clinical dosage is only 3mg. There are many better things to use before turning there for a buzz IMO.

Someday maybe bupe will be OTC... No. Monkeys will fly out of my ass first (again) because then they couldn't control folks...

No, subutex (buprenorphine) is not half the price of suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone)... in fact it is actually about 1 dollar per 8mg pill more expensive than suboxone.

again, no. the IV clinical dosage is actually 0.3mg, not 3mg.
