Adderall XR "better" than Regular Adderall?

SWIM wants to know if Adderall (regular) gives folks a better euphoria than Adderall XR???

The only difference between Addy XR and Addy (IR) is the release period of the medication. Amalgamations of amphetamine salts with different absorption rates and half lifes ensure that the XR variant provides for longer, mostly intense experiences that begin and end gradually (an effect known as ramping). The IR variant of Adderall allows for an instantaneous release and absorption of the medication, resulting in shorter acting, more intense experiences with abrupt beginnings and endings.

Both recreational and prescribed users experience this difference, and each individual decides "what he best enjoys/what is most useful to him." Due to the overwhelming number of users who prefer XR, as well as the intense abuse potential of IR, XR is more commonly prescribed and easier to find on the streets (at least in America).

Summary: XR = long-lasting, less intense. IR = short-lasting, more intense. XR = generally more popular. IR = higher risk of abuse. XR = more prescribed. IR = harder to find (possibly more expensive). The point = YMMV.

Swim has two college friends. one has script for 20mg IR, other has script for 30mg IR. Honestly, there is no need whatsoever for medical purposes to have a 30 mg IR aderol. If swim is snorting recreationally than the IR is prefered. If trying to actually get things done XR prefered
