modafinil less crash than adderall...anything else??

Is there a drug with less of a crash than adderal. SWIM likes adderall, but the crash is pretty bad. SWIM heard modafinil is good, anything else??

Swim thinks adderall is not a very bad crash at all. Try some Ritalin (methylphenidate) and the crash is way worse. Dont know much about modafinal but I do know that it will not be nearly as useful, recreational, etc. as Adderall is. If swiy does not like the crash, then maybe some sort of downer (benzo) to calm down or some cannabis.

Modafinil is better in terms of crash, but is lacking euphoria, which seems to go hand in hand with the ability to focus. But for work it is fine. It is way better than coffee. Only the long duration sucks a bit.

I knew a friend of a friend who felt the same way. Modafinil/Provigil is more like being strapped to the back of a long distance runner. You'll get to where you want to go but it will be incredibly boring. Whereas Adderall is like being strapped to the wing of an airplane in flight, you'll feel as if you're shot out of a canon headed straight for the moon. All of this is according to an old friend of a friend.

SWIM disagrees. Modafinil made him enjoy studying and got him much more interested in his subject matter. It's probably quite boring compared to adderall, but not boring in its own right.
