Magnesium Citrat: Urine Test

I havea urine test coming up, and they'll test for marijuana. Now I have a friend who smokes even more than me, and took his drug test for the army reserves and past. The officer at the reserves told him to come back for the test, but to start drinking Magnesium Citrate the day before.. He did it, and he passed the test.. I might do the same thing, but has ANYONE even heard of doing this???

Magnesium Citrate will not help you... did your buddy happen to tell you the results of drinking magnesium citrate all day? It is an EXTREME laxitive, they give it before barium enemas ect. I am sure you'd find out after the first bottle that you would not want another one, but if you insisted it would simply dehydrate you. In all reality if you are getting urinalysis, drink as many fluids as you can, along with electrolytes. Please don't drink Mag Citrate all day, the only hope would be that you wouldn't be able to get off the toilet long enough to go and get tested...
