Quick Release?
SWIM's friend just got some quick release tablets and was wondering if they were worth it. She has had some experience with Adderall before, which she thought was amazing, but only the XR tablets. When she is on the XR she will enjoy the euphoria for 4 hours or so, put on some music, watch TV etc. Then she will hit the books(test the next day or something).
SWIM's question is how QR works, she knows that she will get the study boost, but she is wondering if the euphoria is there at all. btw, SWIM knows no discussion of prices on this forum, but if she didn't want to pay $3 a pill and told her friend, maybe 2/pill, she would be in the right, no? thanks guys |

Re: Quick Release?
the 'Instant Release" means it releases all of the dose..
thats why XR (Extended Release) releases only half of the mg.. so if it was 30 mg it would release 15 mg the first 4-6 hours =D and the other after that. but SWIM used to get for 2-3$

Re: Quick Release?
SWIM prefers IR over XR simply because you can time IR dosages to act like an XR dose if necessary. I understand why XR might be useful to some people who don't have time to micromanage their doses and are just looking for therapuetic effects, but if SWIY is looking for the more euphoric its obviously IR. Oh, and in regards to food, most food will dilute the acidity of your stomach, but it will also slow down absorption. To what extent each happens I am unsure. SWIM knows from personal experience that taking it before he eats or on an empty stomach produces stronger results.
