making salvia divinorum spirits

I have like 50g of dried salvia leaves and I would like to make some drinkable shit out of that. I`ve heard that salvia dillutes in water but should I use that or like 60% alcohol? And could anyone tell what would be nice salvia/alcohol ratio

Using alcohol would make it leach faster and using 60% alcohol would leave you with 40% water. If you would use a higher % alcohol you would come up with a more condensed mixture. However this is something I haven't tried with salvia. If you'd start off with 1 gallon, which is 64 oz. (sorry if you use metric) you would end up with about20 to 25ozs.after leaching .


Ifyou planto cook the alcohol off,do it with an electric stove because of the volitility of the alcohol,alcohol may cause a fire.

I won`t cook off the alcohol. I have ordered 56g of leaves and I`m going to use 1-1,5L(thats 0,25-0,4 gallons) of 50% vodka. How does that sound to you?



If I manage to get like 85% of salvinorin out of the leaves, that should still make like 47,6g and if I use 1L of vodka, that makes like 0.05g of 10x extract /1cl

ok, have tried it and it doesn´t(weird?) work



I finally put 28g of leaves and 0,5l of 40% vodka to a little jar. It was kept these for like 30 hours and it was shaken hourly.



finally one of my friends tried to drink about 0,3l and didnt feel anything but mild alcohol buzz.



later that night(+4h) he had terrible headache and vomited several times



so, i wouldnt recommend it to anyone
