preparing concerta

SWIM has a 54 mg concerta prescription. SWIM has cut the pill open before, however the powder is very clumpy and looks hard to snort. SWIM would like to know if there is a way to make the powder less clumpy and also wants to what the best way to do concerta is

well if you plan on snorting it, I would recommend placing a credit card over the pile of powder and crushing it up. Then, take a razor and cut it up further.

However, if this is the first time concerta/ritalin is being done, it would probably be best to do it orally. Just pop the pill and see how it feels. After doing that a couple times move on up to snorting it.

alright, i gotcha, but when SWIM breaks the pill open, about half of the pill is green powder, another big portion of the pill is white powder and then there is a bit of pink powder. Is some of this powder part of the time release mechanism? Is SWIM supposed to get rid of any of this powder or just snort it all?

Concerta has a ridiculously technical osmosis based extended release process. But essentially it involves the rate at which water can enter that tri-part core and thus the drug release rate. SWIM wants to note to you that the mechanisms of concerta supposedly don't even break down in digestions. SWIM is not sure that is great for SWIYs nose and probably worse than most other pills even.

yep. I know first hand, snorting concerta (after removing the 2 time release layers and the diarhrea coloured filler) leads to a sticky inner nose, It literally feels like glue if you do more than a pill or so.

Just pop em, they are shitty to snort.

You cant hope to crush a concerta pill fine enough to snort it properly. Take as indicated, trust me.

Wrong. SWiM snorted a lot of those a while back. True you get some crap stuck in the nose, so what? "Snorting" a little water after a while helped him a bit. Just make sure SWiY does not use the dark part inside his pills. Cut open, discard dark part, crush to a fine powder. The coating also contain some methylphenidate, but that part can not be insufflated.

SWIM used to bite 54mg pills in half(VERY hard pill,unless teeth are strong, don't do it) and swallow them which allowed for a more rapid release of MPH.Chopping them up as finely as possible and parachuting the cut up pill is also an option for even more rapid release(advised only if SWIY has a tolerance to MPH, or otherwise asking for heart issues).
