Great in small doses?

Maybe SWIM is just getting old, but SWIM feels that, in general, that drugs are better in moderate doses. SWIM used to be a real trooper and would tend to over-indulge. These days SWIM generally uses on the low end of recommended doses of basically any type of drug and finds it more pleasing. Those heroic doses SWIM used to enjoy so much, just aren't as pleasant anymore. SWIM doesn't know where this is coming from. Maybe this is that "maturity" thing SWIM's parents talked about so much. Damnit, maybe SWIM is just getting old.

Nopes most drugs are better in moderate dosages --. It is just true. My monkey felt most of the negative effects increased with higher dosages. It eventually makes the whole experience less enjoyable due the hangover etc.

E.g:

A huge pile of psychedelics is really no fun. Just soul shattering.
A lot of alcohol, really fun if you like puking and acting inappropriate.
Too much amphetamines? A three day depression is something you seem to strive for.
A gram of coke everyday, will blast your personality away.

SWIM doesn't usually go for large doses of anything deliberately anymore, this place educates a man. But sometimes a heavy drinking session or a little more ketamine you had to finish off might create an over-indulgence of sorts. There will be blips, which kind of makes it fun from time to time.
