How difficult is it to get on buprenorphine?

Swim is going to a center that treats people with suboxone this coming week,swim would definitely like to atleast try this alternative.Should it be too difficult?How should swim go about this?

Depends on your state. With the methadone program to gain admittance (in Pa) the patient must have went through an alternative rehab program already and subsequentially relapsed. Im assuming suboxone is the same, though if you can find small rural doctors and tell him your situation he might just subscribe it to you, its in his power.

Swim lives in Virginia,swim does not want to go to detox or some ridiculous rehab.This is not going to help swim.Withdrawal hits swim very hard and since methadone is swims primary drug of choice it hits him for a very LONG time.
