Binging & Falling Asleep

Okay, background info first: Swim only just started doing amphetamines about 3 weeks ago. So yeah, she's really new to all of this and begs you to forgive her ignorance. The people she's been hanging out with are all much more experienced than her and seem to have a higher tolerance, but she's been keeping up with them anyway, for the most part. She's aware that she's doing a lot for a newb, but she's only going to have access to such things for another couple of weeks, then she'll be quitting for a very long time. That's the plan anyway.

Sunday night Swim snorted 30mg of adderall. No sleep. Throughout Monday Swim took 60mg orally in the time-release pills and snorted 30mg. She also had quite a bit of weed. Monday night Swim also had maybe 3 hits of meth. Again, no sleep, but a very interesting high resulted. Tuesday morning Swim had around 4 or 5 hits of meth. This kept her up and pretty active for most of the day. Around midnight Swim was beginning to feel sleepy and snorted another 60mg of adderall.

Questions:

1. Less than an hour after snorting the adderall on Tuesday night, Swim basically passed out and slept for 3-4 hours. Why didn't it keep her up?

2. On the days where Swim consumed adderall, she noticed that her fingertips (and entire pinky fingers) felt numb/asleep. She couldn't get them to "wake up", no matter how much she fiddled with them. This lasted the entire day. Why? Is this a bad sign? Or is it a normal side effect?

3. Is it common for a person to get fleeting thoughts of hopelessness, depression and anxiety while they're using adderall? Is there any way to help prevent this?

Re: Binging & Falling Asleep

swim isn't a chemistry or biology expert but she can try to answer these.
1. it probably didn't keep swiy up because her body's energy is depleted. Also, over the course of three days, swiy's tolerance so 60mg didn't do for swiy on tuesday what it would have done on sunday. adderall tolerance is very easy to obtain and swiy should really be careful when using addys because before swiy knows it, her tolerance will make it so that 100mg doses or higher don't do anything for her.
its a huge pain in the ass and swim is currently struggling with that as well.
simply put though, 60mg of adderall isn't going to keep swiy up when shes coming down from a couple days of adderall and meth use, in swims opinion and experience.
2. swim hasnt ever heard of this happening before, it doesn't sound like it could be too good for swiy though, its probably a circulation problem. (hopefully another swimmer will be able to answer that more accurately, sorry)
3. this has happened to swim after she began using adderall several times a week for about a month, not only did her tolerance grow but occasionally she would feel anxious and depressed for a little while.(like 10 minutes usually). the anxiousness can of course be somewhat be attributed to the fact that swiy is using amphetamine, but swim isnt sure about the depression.

swiy just needs to remember that while doing amphs (and meth) that they work by stimulating the dopamine in the brain in the way that swiy body's body naturally does as a reward. eventually, this effect is harder and harder to achieve in both the short term (meaning swiy needs sleep and food and such) and long term (damage to the dopamine receptors in the brain).

swim apologizes if any of the above is factually incorrect or inaccurate (especially the science stuff) but swim has had similar experiences and hopes this babbling helps..

2. Amphetamines are vasoconstrictors... they make my hands cold and clammy... in other words they shrink your vessels... Alcohol, aspirin etc... are vasodialators, they open the vessels and make your extremeties warmer... Nicotine also is a constrictor as well as caffeine or cocaine.
