State of the crack market in Scotland
Swim was wondering what the experience level of purchasing crack in Glasgow is. Official line seems to be that it is a minor substance on the street and that Glasgow has never developed a crack market. Why would this be? From all accounts the city has a raging heroin and party drug market. Does anybody have friends who have been involved in the crack scene there?

Re: State of the crack market in Scotland
Sorry. I didn't think about the heading. I am interested in how, when and why crack markets occur. There has been speculation in the media that the crack market in Aberdeen occured solely due to a relationship between a local dealer and a supplier from England. It occured to me that Glasgow, with its already entrenched drug markets, would also see an organised crack distribution network operating. However, the local authorities (police, drug services ect) say that this has not happened. Is this true? And if so, why? Anyone care to speculate or hypothesise? Thanks
