Methamphetamine can burn skin ?

Swim was talking to a 'known' guy who can supply alot of stuff. He told swim he was offered something called 'Brain' which in pure form can burn skin. Sounded rather stupid to swim but the guy said it was like very strong speed (swim thought it was crystal).

Swim hates asking questions that make him sound stupid at times, but does anyone know of such substance because it sounds rather far fetched to swim ?
He was also wondering if there even was a more powerfull drug with similar effects to crystal meth ?

I've never heard of meth burning skin... but sodium hydroxide, a chemical used in the production of meth can cause severe burns when a combination of this and moisture is exposed to the skin... maybe whoever produced this stuff accidentally mixed it in? either way, unless someone posts knowing that meth can in fact burn skin in one of it's forms while remaining safe (as it can be) and active, swim would stay clear (imagine what something that burns one's outsides can do to one's insides)

also, the closest drug to meth I've heard of is methcathinone- similar to methamphetamine but with more euphoria and less intensity according to wikipedia

swim has heard methamphetamine burns the skin. swimyfriend said he swears he got burnt by it. it think he meant the smoke or something lingering in the air all around him. swimyfriend did A LOT of meth. swim is skeptical about this though.

Freebase meth is an amine, thus a base (doh! the name said it!)

Like ammonia, an amine can be corrosive.
