Gastrointestinal problems after rolling.

On Sat. night, SWIM ate 1 pill at around midnight. Things were weird for SWIM from the start. For some reason she had goosebumps all over her body even though it was really HOT inside the nightclub. SWIM also felt itchy everywhere. At around 4:30 AM, SWIM ate another half, which was a different roll, and left the club shortly after.

When SWIM got home on Sunday morning and tried to eat a bite of toast, she threw it back up instantly. The same thing continued to happen for the rest of the day whenever SWIM tried to eat or drink anything. SWIM was vomiting up bile, and had severe diarrhea. SWIM had a fever - felt freezing cold and was shivering and shaking, even though everyone else in her house felt hot. SWIM felt nauseous whenever she moved around.

SWIM was with a good SWIF who made sure she didn't stop breathing or OD.

Three days have passed since then, and SWIM is feeling only slightly better. SWIM can keep food down now without throwing it back up, but has a severe loss of appetite and has to force herself to eat. SWIM is not eating very much and has lost a lot of weight, as she can only stomach dry biscuits, pieces of fruit, toast, etc. SWIM still has diarrhea and bouts of nausea every now and then, although it is slightly reduced. SWIM feels very tired and spends most of her time sleeping.

SWIM is a bit worried, as she has rolled a number of times before and never had this kind of reaction. There is a bout of gastro going around where SWIM lives, and another SWIF had a virus that produced similar symptoms recently. SWIM suspects that she picked up a bug from somewhere on that night, or perhaps it is possible that SWIM was allergic to something in her pills. The first pill was the same roll that SWIM and SWIF had the week before, and the second pill was one that SWIF had taken 2 of that night - all pills were from a trusted source of SWIF's. SWIF had no bad reaction, and SWIM is surprised that SWIF hasn't caught the virus off her. SWIM realises that SWIY is not a doctor, but would like to know if other SWIMs have ever had this kind of reaction after rolling. SWIM wants to know if this is common or rare. SWIM is getting very worried and hopes she hasn't fucked herself up permanently with a stomach ulcer or anything like that. Any opinions would be appreciated.

SWIM is not going to be rolling again for a while after this experience, and SWIM is sad that it ruined her perfectly good night with SWIF. SWIM thinks her body is trying to tell her to slow down. SWIM will probably go to the doctor tomorrow.

Re: Gastrointestinal problems after rolling.

Given that no one has replied, SWIM figures that this is not a common thing that other SWIMs experience after rolling! It took four days to get over, but the stomach bug is gone now and SWIM feels healthy again. SWIM thinks it was just a very unlucky coincidence that she came down with gastro on the night she happened to be rolling. No fun, but if this ever happens to other SWIMs, just take it easy by staying in bed for a few days - drink lots of water and rest up!

No dramas!

Re: Gastrointestinal problems after rolling.

This actually happened lastweek. SWIM took a higher than average amount and could not keep food down for 2 days. Anything eaten would be followed by some nausea and eventually thrown up. After a few more days the system went back to normal. This is the second time it has happened in 6 months.
