Odd Hydroxyzine after Adderall
SWIM has been prescribed Hydroxyzine for anxiety, because the doctors wont give him benzos currently. It's an anti-histamine.
Anyway, SWIM woke up, had 2 30mg Adderall XRs left over.
Before work, at about 8:15am SWIM swallowed one.
He totally kicked ass at work and got pretty far ahead (he does graphic design and illustration), and then took his other Adderall, mmmm, say 12pm.
Anyway, around 3pm (he gets out at 4) he really started to crave one (SWIM always does this with stimulants, which is why he can't go apeshit with them anymore). Starting to feel a tiny bit crudy, knowing it was impossible to ingest anymore, he made due (knowing full well he had 1mg klonopin in his pocket, but trying to save it) for the hour.
He had planned on drinking lots of grapefruit juice to potentiate the klonopin when he got home to get the most out of what he could, and began drinking it.
While waiting SWIM decided to try snorting the powder inside his Hydroxyzine (rather, a yellow pile of tiny hard clumps mixed with granular-ish powder). He did about 1/4 of what was there, and pretty soon felt super drained and tired, relaxed (to an extent).
It was odd, he was about to fall asleep! He didn't crave the adderall anymore, nor has he taken his klonopin yet (he is going to save it f or another day, he wont have another for a bit).
A couple more times SWIM snorted little lines of the stuff (it had to be super fine and inhaled slowly to dissolve, he found) with similar effect. A slow creep up of decent sedation, somewhat relaxing feeling (no euphoria, I mean SWIM didn't get "high" from it), lasting about 30-45 minutes maybe.
Very strange.
SWIM will have to try to find more out about Hydroxyzine insufflation. The grapefruit juice, would that have anything to do with it?
SWIM was surprised because usually he pops 3 of them without much effect (sometimes it messes his balance up a tiny bit, but no different feeling in the head).
Anyway, perhaps SWIM will try again, maybe it was a placebo effect, who knows?
Either way, SWIM felt it! (that's an effect, right?)
