Spread of Meth to the East Coast
Hi everyone, swim has been watching alot of documentaries about meth lately and one of the topics that most of them seem to hit on is the spread of ice to the cities (and I guess rural areas also..) of the american north east. This swimmer has mixed feelings on this because she has grown up in texas but now lives in nyc. Growing up in texas she went through a time when she was very addicted to ice and has seen it grow to become a prevalent drug in her home state and was somewhat surprised (and relieved) to learn that it is much more rare (and I guess unpopular?) in the northeast. Swim would think that the effects of speed would be highly popular in a city known for people hurrying all the time (swim knows that she is!) and there never seems to be enough time to get things done. Swim knows that meth has had some popularity in the gay community in the city but has not ever heard much else of the drug in this area of the country. Anyways, swim was wondering what swiy's thoughts were on the spread of meth to the northeast cities and what they predict to be the effects (or if swiy even thinks that meth has a chance for gaining popularity in these urban areas).
Thanks
