New Mexico calls for state-licensed production and distribution of medical marijuana
More importantly, it's the first state to do so.

Kind of surprising to hear a presidential candidate to come out in favor of medical marijuana, since it's a touchy issue. Hopefully it'll help shape the debate towards this issue a little bit. |

Re: New Mexico calls for state-licensed production and distribution of medical mariju
A clear state-oriented sentiment has been a constantly moving undercurrent in the medicinal marijuana scene of southern california. Not only would the state benefit from both taxes, regulation, and control, but the patients would benefit from having a consistent source of medication without the worry of contaminants, mold, misplaced genetics, or inconsistent growth strains, putting marijuana in a class of medications rather than inconsistent holistic herbs.
