Shit... don't mind if I do. 1st post, yall!
About 8 years ago, SWIM had a little run in with what he and his crew liked to call "Mr. T".(Tiletamine will be referred to by its hood-conceived nickname from this point on) At the time, SWIM's area had never seen ketamine. Mr. T became some bit of a legend, in that area. A friend of SWIM's worked at a vet and took the liberty to confiscate some bottles of Telazol (SWIM thinks it was called). The sealed vials of dry-powder contained Tiletamine and some benzo (a benzo is a benzo,ISO). Further more, the powdered substance was very odd in it's reaction to air, once removed from the vial. What was once a dry powder would transform into a condensed, damp, and gummy substance, which made SWIM uneasy. After about an hour, the condensed, gum turned solid, and was easily crushed back down into a dry powder, again. SWIM and the hood reflected on the oddness of this for a moment, then preceded to partake, via sniffles. SWIM found that a small line produced a half-hour semi-psychedelic drunk feeling, with a slight lingering mellow, that lasted for a few hours.
SWIM and hood preceded to consume the substance by various methods, in various combos, which I will elaborate:

Smoked: a small amount was placed on a meth-style foil boat, which was heated by lighter from below. Substance turned black, tasted kind of like a chemicallly-contaminated beef jerkey, if SWIY will. Effects were instant and seemed to be more psy-ish than when sniffled.

Swallowed: SWIM had purchased a sealed vial for himself and had made use of all of the substance, except for a thick layer of the powder that was caked to the interrior of the (and identically on all of them obtained) glass vial. SWIM filled the container with water, in which the unknown amount of goodies was easily dissolved transparent. SWIM proceded to down the unknown amount and waited for effects. Onset was slightly slower (15-20 minutes), effects were far longer lasting (2 hours), and definitely the most psychedelic in nature. No major visuals were experienced (as with all other routes), but nature of thinking was greatly effected. SWIM swam (HA) in his parents pool (I know this was prob a bad idea-I was 18) and experienced a minor OBE in the shallow stairs of the pool. (not encouraging, but this was phenominal)

Injected: A homie of SWIM's wanted to try this route, for a true dissociative experience. SWIM's vet worker friend obtained the steril, sealed utensils.(from the vet, ha!) Water was added to a full container and an unremembered dosage was pulled into the utensil. The utensil was inserted into the guinea pig's theigh muscle, and a large amount of the liquid was plunged in. Paralysis seemed to set in immediately and guinea became unresponsive, although his eyes stayed open. Guinea was "out there" as he described it, for around an hour. He said lingering effects lasted until the next morning. He mentioned a phenomenon of increased sociopathic-type impulses for a few days after.(feelings of longing to steal, break, and hurt) Not sure if that was related or not, but what the hell?

Various methods, on the comedown of MDMA, with nitrous: This was ideal. SWIM really enjoyed post-roll binges of Mr. T, in combination with sweet, nitrous breaths in the great outdoors. These were probably some of the most interesting, social psychedelic experiences ever ejoyed by SWIM and his crew. Total mind fuck is prob the best way for SWIM to describe what happened. The last group whippet after the last lines of tough-guy Mr. T resulted in mutually-shared histarical laughing among SWIM and the fellas for over 30 minutes afterward. Hardest SWIM has ever laughed to this day and still doesnt remember why. Also notable, is the fact that after a night of many rolls, SWIM fell fast asleep after the effects of bad boy Mr. T had worn off.(result of the benzo, no doubt)

Within a month of Mr. T's introduction, a series of unfortunate (or furtunate, depending on who you ask) events lead to strict control of the mothership reserves of SWIM's new best friend, and Mr. T was never seen again, in that area.
Although SWIM still misses Mr. T, he and what is left of his crew have since then experimented with various ketamine-benzo combinations, through which, Mr. T's spirit lives on in SWIM's hood.

Let me know what rules I broke.

Everybody is different, but my guess is that SWIY either did not consume Tiletamine at all or had other chems in SWIYs system. I never met anybody who had that reaction. How do you even know what it was? More detail would be nice but my guess is that he is just talking for talking's sake.

Your guess would be wrong. SWIM obtained pharmaceutical tiletamine (not street rubbish) and had not consumed any other psychoactives for weeks prior. SWIM is referring to the IM route around 15mg. Either way, it is inferior to ketamine and I stick to what I said in the previous post.

P.S. I found a similar report on erowid which seems consistant with SWIM's experience.

Nateup7, SWIM thinks that the "benzo" was zolazepam 1 which is used as an anaesthetic for animals - with tiletamine in Telazol.

Here are some information what SWIM found;

Dosage for animals: (More information.)
- Dogs 6.6 - 9.9mg/kg I.M. for diagnostic purposes, 9.9 - 13.2mg/kg I.M. for minor procedures of short duration (the total dosage should exceed 26.4mg/kg, package insert; Telazol®)
- Cats 9.7 - 11.9 mg/kg IM for procedures such as dentistry, abscess treatment, foreign body removal, etc (the total dosage should not exceed 72 mg/kg, package insert; Telazol®)
- Horses 1.65 - 2.2mg/kg I.V.
- African elephant 3mg/kg I.V. (dose based on a single case in which the elephant became recumbent in 2 minutes and recovered in 6 hours, Kreeger et.al. 2002)

Stolen tiletamine (pure from a factory) was sold as ecstasy in UK on 1992. The another pill (there were two kinds of, other had also ephedrine with it.) weight 200mg, pic.
