SWIM's nasty fentanyl experience and some ?'s

So SWIM got a hold of some 50 mg fentanyl gel patches and decided to apply one patch. She felt really good for about 24 hours, and then proceeded to become violently ill and scared. SWIM knows this is gross, but SWIM was throwing up many times and then began to puke this yellowish-green nasty-tasting slimy substance. Can any SWIY tell SWIM what this was? Certainly not something SWIM ate...

Anyway SWIm had to remove patch and is freezing in case there is any way to administer the fentanyl in smaller doses. Can SWIY help SWIM with coming up with some ideas? SWIM hates the idea of wasting opiates. SWIM thanks you in adavnce.

Sounds like swiy has overdone the opiates and are vomiting stomach byle.
This could also happen if swiy haven't had opites for a few days, then you take some.
Patches do make some people feel lowsey in general.
Wouldn't worry too much. Try again and if the same happens. Give them up!

Perhaps the 50 patch was too strong for SWIY, if it happens again put a small plaster under the patch so only two thirds is in contact with the skin. Elastoplast around the patch if you have trouble with them staying on, wipe skin with cold water, dry and then put patch on, if the patch gets hot it will deliver much more fentanyl. Once a patch is removed it can't be stuck back on the skin, it peaks at 24 hours and starts dropping off after 2 - 3 days. SWIM finds it better to change her patches every other day as she was starting to withdraw on the 3rd day, SWIM has her patches prescribed and doesn't recommend them for pleasure as she doesn't get any effects from them at all, fentanyl by a different rout would be very good, if SWIM knew a way of doing it. The gell is so thick it wont go up a needle and SWIM has had no luck in smoking it, SWIM uses fentanyl for medical reasons and heroin for pleasure.
