SWIM turns into a B****!

SWIM has been experimenting with Xanax and Lorcet. And, every time, she has bitched out her boyfriend for no reason. SWIM has no reason to be pissed off. The only thing that she can think of that is different is that she had just snorted those pills.

Has anyone else had this kind of experience?

ive noticed that some people have a reaction like that to benzos.benzos also lower your inhibition levels causes you to do things you might not normally do.

Swia has had very nasty vicious outbursts with people she is close too on benzos usually in excessive amounts, not intentionally thou she can come off really horrible has been violent although this is with excessive amounts usually following abusive patterns rather then directed use. The method of administration will make no difference, everyone reacts differently etc.

It's not unusual for people to become moody on some benzos, particularly alprazolam/Xanax. SWIM has seen it happen. As mentioned by fnord, benzodiazepines lower inhibition levels and, like alcohol, can bring out the bad side in people.

SWIM would reccomend that SWIjane try the following:

1. Don't blow/snort the lorcet or the xanax. Intranasal bioavailability isn't too great for either drugs + the binders and other ingredients in the pills, particularly lorcet, will definitely complicate things.

2. Try taking the drugs by themselves. Both hydrocodone and alprazolam are loved by many for their pleasant effects; no need to risk wasting a good experience by combining them.
