Ecstasy: Best Drug

I've smoked pot for a long, drink fairly frequently, done quite a bit of coke including crack, speed,heroin (never injected), and ecstasy is still the best drug: it combines the sensual/psychedelic elements with pure euphoria; there is nothing in the world like a good E trip (right dose, setting, situation etc.).

I notice in the list of drugs you have tried there are no psychedelics like LSD or mushrooms. Have you tried any?

I agree; I heart ecstasy to death, if only it didn't cause tolerance with frequent use

I see that almost as a built in safety against extreme addiction. If you do too much ecstasy or too frequently, its simply stops working. Its almost as if the drug was designed to be non habit forming.

yeah, I have used mushrooms numerous times, and LSD a few times; those drugs are definitely superior when it comes to a spiritual/mind blowing aspect, but there are so many intangibles, little things can lead to bad trips, and I find there are usually back and forth between exhiliration and doubt/paranoia. I guess in my definition of 'best drug', I was referring of the feel-good/euphoric aspects. To add, I've had some amazing trips combining mushrooms with E, so that's something to be considered as well.
I guess my reason for this post was that I had tried E (and pot, psychedelics etc) a number of years before I had tried coke or heroin. Due to the notorious nature of both the latter drugs, I had always assumed that they would lead to an even higher plane of euphoria than possible on E, yet I found this to be completely untrue.Edited by: icemaster
