Attaining sleep when the drugs won't let SWIY

There are various threads in the forums about getting to sleep after particular substances. Please feel free to share such info here. But SWIM is really interested in sleep-aids and the safety of them, after a variety of drugs (though not necessarily in combos). For example: mushrooms, LSD, piperazines, coke, amph, etc.

So SWIM has successfully taken gravol (dimenhydrinate) to sleep after piperazines. SWIM is wondering if diphenhydramine and dimenhydrinate are safe to use after drug use (knowing of course that alcohol is a no on).

Most of the other threads suggest benzos. Why is this? Are they are more effective, or less dangerous? They're certainly not easy to come by.

Re: Attaining sleep when the drugs won't let SWIY

As long as SWIY is clued up and responsible (as most D-F users should be), GHB makes for an excellent remedy to that particular scenario.

SWIM and his wife like to party with coke and G with the end result (after about 6-8 hours average party time) aiming to be a nice gentle comedown and then easy sleep.

A sleep dose of GHB ( < > 4g) should not, however, be taken whilst user is still tweaked off their asses as it is likely to simply make their conscious mind fall asleep whilst their body gets up to no good and may harm itself!

If taken correctly, as the user is coming down, it works very very nicely though.

The user will sleep for about four hours, after which they should awake refreshed, which is quite handy as, having been on a stimulant, they are likely to be looking to sleep sometime in the small hours and may not have the luxury of being able to get their full night's quota.

Unless of course they are lazy shiftless students who need at least 8 hours sleep a day. And 10 at night.

Tax dodgers, parasites on society, have a wash, stop listening to The Levellers and get a job!
