This report may help to dispose a few 'myths' about GHB
The highest dose given was 9gms in two doses. The medical tests ran for 3, 6 & 12 months with NO withdrawl symptoms noted at all. Two guys died during testing, however, the tests were not strict tests performed in a controlled environment and these guys who died, died as a result of other drugs. (Though I'm sure if the media got hold of that little snippet of info it would read, " Two Die from Date-Rape Drug!", scaremongers that they are.

I think I read that they also tried an ethanol/ghb mix which produced longer sleep inducement. Anyway, 'nough of my bullsheeeet...
