Withdrawal?

SWIM's been using G for a long time now (not round the clock). Started off just on weeknds and then migrated to here and there duing the week. Then to every day with a few days break every week. SWIM went through what SWIM believes was a horrible withdrawal once and never wants to experience it again. SWIM usually doses round the clock on weekends (including to sleep due to the coingestion of other party drugs). SWIM then usually requires doses on mondays to relieve comedowns from other drugs. SWIM started using every day during the week (3 to 4 caps a day). SWIM figured if SWIM didn't use it to sleep that SWIM would be ok in terms of withdrawal (giving his body more then 12 hours without G since.... his last dose would be around 4 30pm). Yet last tuesday when his lunchtime cap wore off SWIM started to feel a panic attack. SWIM did 1/2 his regular dose to make it through the day at work and then stopped cold turkey (SWIM just ended up feeling a little anxious and uncomfortable till friday). With the weeknd came SWIMS round the clock dosing and coingestion of other substances (E and Coke). Now it's monday and swim is starting to feel anxiety comming on when his dose wears off so he has planned to taper his doses until wednesday... spending thursday without any.... most of friday without any.... and then the weekend routine..... SWIM was just wondering how many days break are necessary to avoid withdrawal anxiety (it's no where near as bad as from a 1 month round the clock SWIM experienced before but the 3 day anxiety is still uncomfortable enough to want to avoid it). SWIM also has access to Lorazopam's if necessary. What recommendations does anyone have?

Re: Withdrawal?

SWIY can titrate his dosing (reduce gradually) to try and minimise his withdrawal problems.

When SWIY mentions G, is he talking about GHB or GBL?

Re: Withdrawal?

SWIM was referring to GHB. The issue is resolved though. SWIM thinks that it was primarily post weekend anxiety/sketch (from amphetamine use which GHB was always the godly cure to). SWIM was just paranoid as he has once before experienced withdrawal one where he had no benzo's no sleeping aids and for some reason tried to stop after a 9 gram dosage with no tapering. It was a really bad experience to say the least. But it was only from a few weeks of round the clock so anxiety attacks ended after 3 days and insomnia after a week (Imovane works wonders). Currently SWIM's last dose was 1.5ml (approx 0.75 gram GHB) and occured 3 hours ago and SWIM feels fine .
