In the below text the National Drug Intelligence Center labels salvia users as 'abusers'...

Abusers ingest Salvia divinorum using various methods of administration. Like tobacco, Salvia divinorum can be smoked or chewed. It also can be brewed and ingested as a tea. When converted into a liquid extract, Salvia divinorum also can be vaporized and inhaled. Immediately after ingesting the drug, abusers typically experience vivid hallucinations--including out-of-body experiences, sensations of traveling through time and space, and feelings of merging with inanimate objects. Some abusers experience intense synesthesia, an effect that causes the abusers' senses to become confused. For example, abusers may describe hearing colors or smelling sounds. The hallucinogenic effects generally last 1 hour or less unlike other hallucinogens like LSD and PCP. High doses of the drug can cause unconsciousness and short-term memory loss.

I would love to see a information bulletin for Cancer Stix' and all its actual abusers...

However, information provided by abusers indicates that the negative long-term effects of Salvia divinorum may be similar to those produced by other hallucinogens such as LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide) including depression and schizophrenia.

HMM...It actually helped me with my depression...DAMN listening to this government causes more stress then salvia itself..SCHIZOPHRENIA...talk about false observations..'seeing the afterglow effect is very common in a very high percentage of salvia users...OR AS THEY CALL IT ABUSERS.. and if there is any cases of schizophrenia i bet there quite rare...

What do you all think..?

I have never heard of serious adverse psychological effects from Salvia. The drug is to new to conclude anything at all, especially for NDIC.

I think there is no sense in the actions of institutes like NDIC, only the blunt averse reaction to the in their eyes perverse use of psychotropics. There is no logical foundation to defend repression of anything that does not harm others. Not in the sense of public health, justice, harm reduction, controll on the drug market, drug profits by crimininal networks, governmental income, etc. etc.

In fact it is undemocratic, even unlawfull to forbid the freedom of thought and conscience.

Read the universal declaration on human rights. (United Nations):

Article 18

Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance.

Article 19

Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.
