Love at First Sight on Mushrooms

Once during what was probably the most intense mushroom trip of swim's life, he had a full blown closed eye hallucination of a girl's face. Swim cannot describe the experience any better than a perfect vision, the most beautiful human form swim could ever imagine. It was a experience of love at first sight; the look in her eyes, the smile on her face, were absolutely flawless. She had long brown hair and her face and neck (this was all swim saw of her) were silhouetted against a bright red shining backdrop that swim felt (and reflected on later), but could not focus on, was a maple tree in autumn. Swim became overwhelmed and during that minuscule interval of time, he felt the emotion he associates with true love more deeply than he ever had in the past (Swim believes he had been in love twice before this experience). Swim was wondering if any somebody has had a similar mystical experience? Swim, because of that mushroom trip, now believes there is someone out in the world perfect for him, he believes in love at first sight firmly and throughout the emotional pain he has felt in relationships, the vision of the girl has always helped to reassure him that there is someone else truly meant for him.

SWIM had a similar experience once. He had eaten a good amount of Philosopher's Stones and started tripping out pretty heavily. He lost control of his speech, vomited (due to the nasty taste of the things) and needed to chill out. He ventured into an empty dark room on his own and decided to ride out the trip. In the darkness, unaware whether his eyes were open or not, SWIM saw some of the most incredible visuals he had ever witnessed. Tunnels of light, visions of landscapes, and also a beautiful woman's face which may be a self-conscious interpretation of what SWIM regards as perfection. It was a mind-blowing experience which was not quickly forgotten.

Swim's theory exactly...the emotions swim had, the expression on her face, all felt so personal to swim. That vision, the girl and the way she was looking at him, satisfied his self-consciousness perfectly. It was almost like the mushrooms were expressing the pointlessness of self-consciousness altogether. That being conscious of your person is nothing but a mistake, blocking you from experiencing genuine emotion and acting with true spontaneity because of constant worry and doubt of how others perceive you. It made swim believe that out in the world someone will see that same perfection in him he saw in that girl by the maple tree. Really cool to hear someone else with a similar experience

Swim has had a similiar experience while on acid, but instead of a hallucination it was real. A really hot girl walked up to Swim, and he thought of something clever to write in her yearbook. The fact that his eyes were all fucked up ruined the moment, but if he were sober he would've written the same thing.

Monkey fell in love with a girl (a long time ago) while shrooming. They passed each other in a hall at a party while he was trippin' hard and they started talking all close and flirtatiously fun-like and he kept thinking "she's like some beautiful flower!" They got together for a couple years (she's about the only person who he dated who could stand him always wandering off for days, gobbling crazy psychoactive substances) but moved to different parts of the world. He still thinks she's fantastic and amazingly beautiful. Monkey usually doesn't remember exactly when he starts digging the girls he's been with but this instance was very memorable, felt like a movie.
