hey guys, new to the forum so I'll say hello before asking some questions.

Alright, I was wondering if consuming alot of water while on speed will cause water poisoning like with MDMA.

In theory, it certainly could. Water poisoning that occurs in MDMA users only occurs because they choose to consume such massive amounts of water, not because of any reaction with MDMA in particular. Indeed, water poisoning could theoretically happen when SWIY isn't under the influence of anything.

Actually, I found this one story on MSNBC that might shed some light for you. It's about a lady who died from water intoxication whilst completely sober.

A woman who competed in a radio station’s contest to see how much water she could drink without going to the bathroom died of water intoxication, the coroner’s office said Saturday.
Jennifer Strange, 28, was found dead Friday in her suburban Rancho Cordova home hours after taking part in the “Hold Your Wee for a Wii” contest in which KDND 107.9 promised a Nintendo Wii video game system for the winner.
“She said to one of our supervisors that she was on her way home and her head was hurting her real bad,” said Laura Rios, one of Strange’s co-workers at Radiological Associates of Sacramento. “She was crying and that was the last that anyone had heard from her.”

It is definitely possible, but probably not as probable. MDMA is an amphetamine and therefore obviously speeds you up a bit and causes you to sweat more, but it can can contribute to the release of vasopressin, which makes you not have to pee as much. On the other hand, speed seems to be more of a diuretic, so even if SWIY were to drink the many gallons of water needed for poisoning, the likelihood of your body excreting enough of it to prevent damage quickly is quite high
