Combinations - Does Caffeine speed absorption of LSD?

Hellow fellow psychonautos,

swim uses caffeine tablets for long long time, maybe since he was 13 year old.
and just today, swim bought a new package of 50 200mg/tab tabs. and he read the package insert for the first time in his life...

and guess what he read.. that there is experimental evidence (how did they do this?)... that shows that caffeine can speed up the absorption of ergotamine... which should be a well known word for swiy....

anyone has experience with this? as if there are good ones, swim would definately ingest 0.8 grams of caffeine or so right before his next vacation with alice!

Cafergot, which is a mixture of ergotamine and caffeine, is an old standard in the treatment of migraine headache. So the link is well known. But 800mg of caffeine? Eww! That would be awful for most people.

bongo:yup it would be alot for most people but he said hes been takeing caffine daily for a while,so im sure a tolerance has built.

yep, fnord is right, swim has some pretty high tolerance for caffeine, due to drinking a lot of coffee and additionally taking the tabs... if swim stops usage of caffeine, he gets severe headache and dizziness and everything, someone could say swim's only real addiction... is caffeine...

thanks for the info gog, that sounds pretty good. maybe alice AND caffeine together.. swim should take only one tab of caffeine, for a safer use. if swiy's interested, swim will write a report if it's different than alice alone.. and additionally create a picture like after the last two trips he had....

A friend of mine did that to himself also. Several grams a day. Then valium to take the edge off. Took him awhile to cut that one out. LOL.

But yes - caffeine can boost ergotamine. Unknown for LSD-25 though.
