Have been thinking about what americans could do to further progress the end of prohibition, aside from voting (seems to be useless on this front), supporting the Drug Policy Alliance, writing your newspapers, congressmen and women, etc.
I wonder what a large march/rally to the White House would do, where each person in the group would have a joint and a lighter (would work well at night , while others would carry pickets, to get the attention of the media and the nation. I think it would need to be a large group of people, mostly dressed in not the stereotypical stoner fashion, but in clothing of "normal" citizens.Do you think this would make any kind of impact, and if not why? Or are there other methods that would be more practical and affect change better? I'm tired of bitching and griping about our policies, and hearing others over and over again doing the same, and would rather see something done more about it. What can we do, especially if we got organized? |

We could, but I doubt anything would happen. The drug war is in full effect for the past god knows how long. Its funny that the drug war is directed towards Meth, and Cannabis. Meth makes since, but cannabis...come the F*** on.

alot of the war on drugs was started and fuel with racism if i'm not mistaken... i would imagine the only way change could happen is if more people knew that alot of the war on drugs was based on racism, and that alot of the hysteria surround drugs was mainly exagerations.. another way change could happen is if all the overly religous or motherly types would just learn to focous on their own life, rather than focousing on everyone else's
