Cold Hands and Meth

A friend of mine says that his hands always get very cold when he takes methamphetamine. He says that meth is great for sex, but the cold hands are a turnoff to both himself and his partner. He wants to know if there is any other substance he can take along with the meth that will counteract this side effect.

By the way, he says that the above side effect happens when he does meth orally, but he does not remember it happening, or at least it was not as bad, the few times he smoked it. But for reasons I will not go into, he has to take it orally and cannot smoke it.

Re: Cold Hands and Meth

It's normal... meth causes peripheral vasoconstriction, resulting in cold hands and feet. Any vasodilating drug should help, such as enalapril, or "poppers" or some other things.

Re: Cold Hands and Meth

Swim runs into this with almost any phenethylamine, and with PPX. Atm swim is under the influence of 40mg oral of dl-amphetamine and 20mg sublingual and his hands are freezing. They also tend to get a bit stiff and sore. Now if only that stiffness would transfer to his dick \ damn stims.

Speaking of which...As I mentioned, my friend says meth is great for sex, but this side effect that you mention is another one that he gets, so he often uses Viagra together with the meth. I mentioned to him what Nicaine said about using Poppers together with the meth to counteract the cold hands, but he said that to mix the Poppers with the Viagra would be a major no-no. (I believe some deaths have been reported from the combination of Viagra and nitrates. Not sure if this also would apply to Cialis and Levitra, but I assume that it would?)

Re: Cold Hands and Meth

Yes the same principle is at work, two vasodilators is a big no no. I imagine that the massive drop in blood pressure would cause some serious problems.
