methadone withdrawl/duration

Hi, swim was taking up to 80 mg of oxy a day(starting at around 30-40) for a little over a month, and then when they all ran out, swim started using methadone. swim was taking 35-40 mg for just 2 weeks, then stopped cold turkey. swim is now on day 4 of no methadone, and he's still experiencing insomnia, muscle aches, crawling skin, never comfortable, weakness, depression...

how long do you think it will take for swim to start feeling comfortable after taking methadone for 2 weeks?

my friend thou art too ypung to be messong witthat devil. PLEEZE stay away from opiates, esp.methadone. swims been fitin it for 6 looong yeers and i hate to think of a one so yung~ like in that quagmire...bless u for speekin owt,eh. for Bog's sake run whilst thou may. and u werent on it long enough to really see the fire so this as bad as it seems is merely a taste of the threshold fx. protracted wd can last for 18 months plus, though extreeemly doubtful in ur case. but u must bet thy ass its there waiting if u seek it..do not!! many vibes~Elf

Hi, buddy. Same exact predicamate, except SWIM was using up to 80 mgs methadone a day, with lots of vics and norcs, and occasionally oxy. Its quite painful. He smoked and snorted some heroin though (not enough to feel good or to feel high, just enough to feel a bit better). Be strong. SWIM's been through this before and he can tell you it's nice when its past. I'm guessing you've got another 7-10 days left (from SWIMs experience at that dosage, maybe less). Some people take less, some people take longer.
