Whats the best/fastest/ filter?

Swims been doing CWE on Norcos and swim recently is using coffe filters to filter out all the crap, but it takes FOREVER. Swims wondering if fellow swims have any suggestions on certain coffe filters(brand) or any other way to do a faster CWE.

you could try using an old t-shirt. I have done that in the past, I figure if some apap gets past, it is only a small fraction, and therefore way under the original amount and therefore no real threat to me.

Swim thinks that an old T shirt would not be advisable. Swim could be wrong but it seems to that the weave is too wide, for lack of a better word. Swim thinks that too much of what you don't want would get through. Just his 2 cents.

SWIM ran out of filters one day, and was reduced to searching the house high and low for possible filters. Surprise surprise, guess what works best, WITHOUT A DOUBT! The small packs of tissues. If you get the 4-ply ones, gently detatch 1 or 2 plys, depending on the strength of the tissue (which, unfortunately you won't know until you try!). SWIM places the tissue over a glass, push it down, the best way is to use a plastic cup that fits into the glass, then secure it with a rubber band around the rim. Wet it, the tip your mixture into it. SWIM dissolves about 64 cocodamols at a time, and it holds up fine. It takes about half an hour, sometimes longer, depending on the binders, which do differ slightly from brand to brand. A tip, one brand in particular has a binder which is literally like wallpaper paste, and does not filter! It is a brand specific to a high street chemist.

Swie has been using paper napkins and packs of tissues too. He told me that they leave a clear liquid.
